Summit4x4Store – Terms and Conditions for Online Sales
1. Background
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply between SummitRock Pty Ltd trading as Summit 4x4 Store (ABN: 74 692 085 180) (we, us, our) and you, the customer (you).
1.2 We are an online retailer supplying aftermarket 4x4 and vehicle accessories (Products) via our website.
1.3 By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Orders
2.1 When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This is an acknowledgement only and does not mean your order has been accepted.
2.2 A contract is formed only when we dispatch your order and send a dispatch confirmation email.
2.3 We reserve the right to accept or reject any order at our discretion.
3. Pricing
3.1 All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated.
3.2 We take reasonable care to ensure pricing and product information is accurate, however errors may occur.
3.3 If an error is identified, we reserve the right to cancel or amend the order and will notify you accordingly.
4. Payment
4.1 Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
4.2 We accept payment via:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- PayPal
- Afterpay
- ZipPay
- Shop Pay
- Other methods as made available at checkout
4.3 Third-party payment providers are subject to their own terms and conditions.
4.4 If payment cannot be processed, we may cancel your order.
5. Order Changes and Cancellations
5.1 Orders cannot be cancelled or changed once dispatched.
5.2 If cancellation is requested prior to dispatch, we may approve it at our discretion and may deduct transaction fees (up to 4%) and any costs already incurred.
5.3 Pre-order cancellations may incur a restocking fee of up to 10%.
5.4 We may cancel any order prior to dispatch and provide a full refund.
6. Product Use and Installation
6.1 Many Products require installation and may involve modification to your vehicle.
6.2 We strongly recommend installation by a qualified professional.
6.3 We are not responsible for any damage, loss, injury or death resulting from installation, misuse or modification of Products.
7. Shipping and Delivery
7.1 We offer free shipping on most Australian orders unless otherwise stated.
7.2 Some Products may be shipped directly from suppliers (dropshipping), which may result in multiple deliveries.
7.3 Dispatch times are typically 1–2 business days, however some items (including pre-orders or out-of-stock items) may take longer.
7.4 Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary.
7.5 We are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, suppliers, incorrect address details or events outside our control.
7.6 Risk in the Products passes to you once the Products are dispatched.
8. Receipt of Goods
8.1 You must inspect your order upon delivery.
8.2 Any issues, including missing, damaged or incorrect items, must be reported within 3 days of delivery.
8.3 Failure to notify within this timeframe may result in the claim being declined.
9. Consumer Guarantees
9.1 Our Products come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
9.2 You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failures, and repair or replacement for minor issues.
9.3 We may require evidence of the issue, including photos, before approving a claim.
10. Returns (Change of Mind)
10.1 We accept returns for change of mind within 30 days of delivery.
10.2 Returns must:
- Be unused
- Be in original packaging
- Include all components
- Be in resalable condition
10.3 A restocking fee of up to 10% may apply.
10.4 Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
10.5 Custom or special-order items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
11. Liability
11.1 We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or third-party work.
11.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the Product.
11.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
12. Privacy and Marketing
12.1 By using our website, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
12.2 You consent to receiving communications from us, including marketing messages, which you may opt out of at any time.
13. Intellectual Property
13.1 All content, branding and materials on our website remain our property.
14. Product Disclaimer
14.1 All Products are aftermarket accessories.
14.2 Products are not genuine OEM parts unless explicitly stated.
14.3 We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with any vehicle manufacturer.
15. Changes to Terms
15.1 We may update these Terms at any time.
15.2 The Terms in place at the time of your order will apply.

16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
